CHG Swab Details
Made of medical grade 100PPI closed-cell polyurethane foam and white PP (Polypropylene)handle.
Tip made of medical-grade foam :soft, inert and hypoallergenic, release fewer particles than gauze.
Eliminate the need for forceps, gauze swabs, bowls and bottled solutions.
Not affected by contact with organic matter, unlike Iodophor solution.
Antiseptic effective against Gram positive bacteria, Gram negative bacteria, fungi and viruses.

CHG Prep swab is a medical swab stick that is used to sanitize the skin. it is made of medical-grade 100PPI open-cell polyurethane foam and white polypropylene handle. It is with a formulation of 2% Chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) and 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to meet the strict clinical requirements for FDA. Chlorhexidine is a chemical antiseptic and is also bacteriostatic which means it can kill both gram-positive and gram-negative microbes even more bacteria compared with traditional Iodophor swabs and Alcohol swabs.
