CHGPrep 26mL Applicator forms a long lasting antimicrobial film that achieves a 99.999% microbial reduction in just 2 minutes. A patient skin prepping solution in a self-contained applicator that combines two proven broad-spectrum antimicrobials: alcohol for quick kill and fast drying, and iodophor for long-lasting antimicrobial protection.
Clinically proven and cost effective, this patient skin prepping solution meets AORN and CDC guidelines for the reduction of surgical site infections.
■Not affected by contact with organic matter, unlike Iodophor solution.
■Antiseptic effective against Gram positive bacteria, Gram negative bacteria, fungi and viruses.
■Available in clear or tinted solution ( Orange ) .
■Sterilized method: Electron beam sterilization (E-beam processing ).
